ComingSoon.net has debuted the first images and poster for the upcoming Kristen Wiig vehicle, Imogene. The film centres around Imogene, a woman who stages a fake suicide attempt in order to win back her ex-boyfriend and winds up in the custody of her mother, played by Annette Bening. Directed by Shari Springer-Berman and Robert Pulcini, Imogene also stars Matt Dillon, Natasha Lyonne and Darren Criss.

Colour me excited!

I’m very excited about this. I know a lot of people hate Kristen Wiig, but I love her. I think this has the potential to be a disaster, but it also has the potential to be a really great movie, along the lines of Stranger Than Fiction (which I really, really need to watch again).

Whaaaaaaaaaaat.

I love Kristen Wiig, I just hate most of her characters on SNL…
